Herndon, Virginia, December 2013 - Lansdowne Development Group, a prominent developer in the Washington metropolitan area (www.lansdownedevgroup.com), announces they submitted rezoning to the Town of Leesburg for a mixed-use development located in downtown Leesburg called Crescent Parke (formally Leesburg Crossroads).
Lansdowne Development Group closed on the 37-acre property located in the Crescent District within the Town of Leesburg in June 2013. “We submitted plans to develop an upscale, urban community consisting of approximately 460 mixed-use units and 200,000 square feet of retail/commercial,” stated Mr. Mitchel, President of Lansdowne Development Group. “This is the second mixed-use community that we will be developing within the Crescent District and we can’t be more excited. We are committed to working with the Town of Leesburg to revitalize the Crescent District.” Crescent Place received zoning approval in December 2013.
Lansdowne Development Group will work closely with the Town of Leesburg throughout the rezoning process. They anticipated opening for sales in 2015, but the site still appears dormant as of 2020.
