  I grew up in Benton 1993-2001. Lived in the Far East lot. The elevators were torn down a year not two prior. I still live near by and any info on this little Hamlet would be appreciated

  I remember visiting the Mainhood family in Benton in the mid 50's. They lived in the railway station and I believe Mr. Mainhood was the station agent.

  I moved to Benton in 1978 and ran grain elevators there till 1984 when I transfered out. Have pictures of elevators etc. Did you live in the yellow house on east end of the hamlet?

  Sure did. My perents added on to the south and stuko'ed it blue.
