Skansen's herb garden can be found on the edge of the Town Quarter behind the Lodge. Herbs have been grown here since the 1890s. The current herb garden was designed by Walter Bauer in 1964 and comprises about a hundred different plants used in households and pharmacies throughout Sweden.
