This collection of old log buildings is the historic "King's Farm Stopping Place" This was a location where travellers could spend the night while on the road up the Ottawa Valley, with accomodation for travellers and their horses. An application to have it declared a historic site went forward several years ago but I am unsure of the current status of this application.
