This polygon outlines the legally defined limits of the entire Town of Deep River, except that it is shown as including areas in the Ottawa River up to the provincial boundary and these river areas are not actually part of the Town. The smaller area in the northwest corner that is also, and separately, labelled as the Town of Deep River includes only the area that is actually part of the operating Townsite, without including either the river overlap or the large area that constitutes the AECL exclusion security zone.
