A splendid example of regal Indo-Saracenic architecture, the Palace combines the best of Indian and Mughal styles.
This Haveli was built after Vikrami Sanvat 1445 by Maharj Kumbha Ji and the temple near by was built on the request of his mother who was a great devotee of Lord Shiv.
Since then the decendants of Maharaj Kumbha Ji resided in this and had hold over the village after 1980 the family of then Rawat Man Singh Ji shifted to Jaipur permanently but still the #rd son of Rawat sahib is residing their to look after the property there. Rawat Sahaib was MLA from Chomu and his eldes son is Advocate, second son was RAS officer(civil servent), youngest son is GM in gramin Anchalik bank of mewar. two daughters out of which eldest one married in Nepal`s royal family and the younger in the thakur family of Bajekha Haryana.
