This quite small nuclear power station has been closed and decommissioned since the late 1980's. It was originally built to demonstrate the functional capabilities of the Candu nuclear reactor design and was used for a number of years as the main training facility for preparing nuclear power plant operators for their duties. It is closed to the public.
