  Penan leader reported missing: http://www.bmf.ch/en/news/?show=81 Penan headman Kelesau Naan disappeared from the Long Kerang village on 23 October 2007 without a trace. Kelesau Naan was one of the leading figures in the Penan communities struggle against the logging of their rainforests by the Malaysian Samling corporation. Long Kerong is one of the few Penan communities that have managed to keep loggers away from their forests.
