The 6-seater Piper Seneca Aircraft ferrying the Interior & Local Govt. Secretary Jesse Robredo piloted by Capt. Jessup Bahinting and co-pilot by a Nepalese Kshitiz Chand crashed off the shores of Masbate City on 18 August 2012 at around 4:30pm. 3-days Later divers recovered the body of the Secretary as well as the pilot & co-pilot that is still strapped in their cockpit sits while the aircraft's fuselage is on an inverted position below 180-feet of water near a ridge thus, making the recovery more difficult.
