Koyun Island (tur. Koyun Adasi "Sheep Island") - an island in the Mediterranean Sea between the city of Simena and Kekova Island. Koyun was once elevated part of a peninsula Kekova, which sank during an earthquake. The name of island probably derives from the custom of local villagers to contain their animals on the islands with the stock of fresh water.
