  • Confusingly actually located in Borehamwood. There are many cases of places in Borehamwood being named after Elstree such as here, or being called 'Elstree & Borehamwood' such as the train station and local newspaper.
  • Sadly around half of the original site was sold off, to the giant Tesco store, to become a supermarket.
  • I think the centre of the 5 photos (the isolated studio building) was actually the Gate studio which was located alongside Elseree railway station a little to the west of here.
