The Great Buddha Temple is located about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the west of Binxian County on 312 National Highway. It is famous for its gigantic Amitabha statue and other refined Buddha grottos, which are delicate and majestically sculpted and were included in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014. It is regarded as the 'First Wonder in Shaanxi Province' and a bright pearl on the Silk Road.
