hill, cinder cone
Its original name is Vier Hügel (Austrian). It is a ridge located on the South-West side of the island and is composed of 4 little adventitious volcano craters, well aligned.
Its original name was given in 1857 by the SMS Novara, an Austrian sail frigate most noted for sailing the globe between 1857 and 1859. This name could be in memory of the Dutch ship Drie Heuvels ("Three Hills") who called at Saint Paul Island for water supply in 1754 and of which the Captain, Godlob Silo, made a very detailed description of the Island.
Its highest point is located 113 m above the sea level.
