Behind the water-curtain of these falls, is Gupt-Bhimashankar. Can be seen only when one goes behind the water-curtain and searches where the falls hit the floor.
Not frequented by tourists or devotees, but known only to locals & trekkers.
The original Gupt-Bhimashankar is a rock cut-out on the floor of the waterfalls. Outline of Shiv-ling with central bigger round Shivling surrounded by 4 round smaller shivlings.
The darker black Shiv-ling is intstalled later.
