Small fort in the southwest side of the island, in the inaccessible area of "Saracen". From this position was easy surveillance of maritime passage between Nisyros and Kefalos.
The area had been fortified by the 13th century the fortification was strengthened by the Knights in the 15th century.
There was never a great castle and survive today little.
