  • In a city of small streets and building under historic preservation orders, the only place to build a large shopping mall was underground. The Carrousel du Louvre is a large, attractive and elegant shopping mall under the Louvre/Tuileries area. It hosts the only true food court in Paris as well as tourist trap stores. In the hot summer months, it serves as a cool refuge.
