Bishop Allen Academy is a TCDSB School located in Toronto’s West End, on Royal York Road. Founded in 1989, the school is attended by 1500 students every year. The school is named after Bishop Francis Allen, an auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Toronto and former pastor of local Etobicoke Parish Our Lady of Sorrows which serves Bishop Allen Academy. The building was built in 1963 and formerly known as Kingsmill Secondary School.

The school offers a variety of academic educational programs from Grade 9 till 12, including a high-school level Early Immersion French Program, a co-curricular program that includes extensive programs in music and the arts and many athletic programs. With a rank of 31 out of 718 Ontario high schools on the Fraser Institute list, this high school is one of the top schools in Toronto.
