Hollant Beach

In earlier times this calm water cove served as the safe harbor for the Arab dhows trading with Goa. The Portuguese had a customs clearing post at this site.
Close by there is a railway track of the southern Railway and the Zuarinagar railway station.

yea...thts true...this is so unlike Goa beaches. One can have nice sunrise view from this beach. We reached here at around 4:30 pm tht day n here we, few ppl, enjoyed star gazing. Lekhraj shared his star gazing knowledge which was quiet interesting. Next morning we had very beautiful sunrise. After breakfast v left for Benaulim camp.
