  Prior to and continuing with its affiliation with Chevron Oil, This corner (the southwestern corner of Hwys 41 and 96) has for many years been known as "Hiway Haven" (misspelling intentional), perhaps going back before I-75 was built. Somewhere around Y2K the old store was demolished and reconstructed to accommodate more gas pumps, a modern convenience store and much more parking for all the blue collar traffic in the morning.
