Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station is an above and below-ground facility operated by the United States Air Force that houses the Cheyenne Mountain Nuclear Bunker. Currently maintained in a "warm standby" status, the Nuclear Bunker is used as an Alternate Command Center for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).
