Great Dane has called the Wabash Valley home for nearly 30 years. The diversity of the people, the natural beauty, and the area entertainment all embody the necessary qualities for a great place to live, work, and play. Like the Savannah Plant, Brazil has a multiple line operation that includes refrigerated units, a dry freight line, and a large order, multi-purpose trailer line. Unique to Brazil, however, is the only composite panel (Thermacube) fabrication facility within the company.

In 2000, Brazil associates were responsible for producing 44% of the trailers built by Great Dane. That year, the facility pioneered the ISO certification quest, which culminated in certification. This achievement was rewarded with a six million dollar plant expansion.

Since 1975, the Brazil Plant is proud to have become one of the largest manufacturing employers in the Wabash Valley. The facility employs more than 1,000 associates, and 10% of them have invested over 25 years of service with Great Dane. In July 2000, the plant was honored to be the largest corporate contributor to the United Way of Clay County.
