  • They called themselves freedom fighters when in fact they were all cowards. So called men who planted bombs under cars in the middle of the night, called at doors and shot dead their unsuspecting victims, blew up town centres, walked into crowded bars and shot indiscriminately. This placed housed those who captured, tortured, violated and mutilated people whom they did not like, tied their hands behind their naked bodies, shot them in the back of the head and left them lying in ditches at the side of remote country roads. The animals who were held in HMP Maze were not men, they were not freedom fighters, they were scum who should be treated like excrament you would wipe from off your shoes. Enough praise could not be given to the brave men and women who locked the doors and grilles of this prison each and every day. The scum who were held here threatened, bullied, persecuted and even murdered the Officers who worked in the Maze and other establishments in Northern Ireland.
