Singapore Zoo (Republic of Singapore)

Malaysia / Johor / Johor Bahru / Republic of Singapore / Mandai Lake Road, 80
 zoo, animal sanctuary

Additional information in English.

Suitable for all ages, you will see tourists, children and families. If you like crowds, go on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and public holidays. At least half a day if you are on foot most of the time to see the animals, their feeding times and shows. Go early for shows unless you are prepared to stand through the shows. Tram ride is not necessary, but can be a saver when tired and thirsty. Bring your own bites, sandwiches and water, but do not feed the animals. Weather can be hot, so bring a hat or an umbrella. Mosquito repellent can be useful. Go in the afternoon if you plan to continue for Night Safari (next door, animals at night).

If you are staying in Singapore for a while, and you have kids, get the friends of zoo family card, which will be worthwhile for more than 3 visits.
