Once a tannery, it is now a creative arts centre in the market town of Farnham, Surrey, England. Its buildings comprise a range of large rehearsal spaces, Great Hall, 15 artists studios, pottery, café and cellar bar.

  • This entry is incorrect ina number of respects: Money raised by the people of Farnham saved the building for conversion to a Community and Arts centre. Current management places equal emphasis on community and arts activity although, as one would expect, many community activities have an arts element. The Farnham Maltings hosts the Farnham U3A (University of the Third Age), one of the largest in the country with over 700 members. Beerex is one of many nationally important 'community' events that takes place at the Maltings.
