Wooden bridge that connects the Western Wall area with the Moroccan gate of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Until 2004, the earth embankment provided direct access for non-Muslims to the Temple Mount through the Moroccan gate. In the winter of 2004, heavy snowfall (by Israeli standards) damaged the embankment.

In 2007, a wooden bridge was built which was originally present as a temporary measure. It had to stand for a few months until the construction of a permanent bridge.

For the construction of a permanent bridge it was necessary to unearth the remains of the old earthen mound, which led to the Waqf accusing Israel of trying to destabilize and destroy the Temple Mount Dome of the Rock, located at a distance of 400 m from the mound.
