The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) marker dated 2011 for the Rizal Fountain is posted in Filipino.

This is the English translation:

Rizal Fountain
"This used to be in the house of Pastor Karl Ullmer in Wilhelmsfeld, Alemanya where Jose Rizal stayed when he finished the last chapters of the Noli Me Tangere novel, 1886.
Given by the Government of Alemanya to the Philippines as a symbol of the historical relation of the two countries and placed in Rizal Park, 30 December 1964. Repaired, 1994, Repaired again as part of the 150-year celebration of the birth of Rizal, 2011."

The plaque below the NHCP marker is also inscribed in Filipino.

This is the English translation:

"Unveiling the cover of the historical marker by President Benigno S. Aquino, III, 30 December 2011 in commemoration of the 115-year anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal."
