Cartagena, one of Spains largest main naval bases. Hosting surface and submarine fleet units as well as supporting units ashore such as ammo storage and technical and logistic support. Also home of Terzio de Levante (Levante Cmd) of the Fuerza de Protección de Infantería de Marina (marine infantry force protection) responsible for the security in the area and on the Baleares.
