park, woodland
"The Plantation is believed to have originally been planted as woodland around the beginning of the 19th Century by the Steele-Perkins family, the former owners of Orton Hall and Park.
The land benefits from long road frontage to Norton Lane, a short frontage to Orton Hill and a gated access from Norton Lane, close to the crossroads. The woodland is, for the majority of its boundary unfenced and is subject to a Leicestershire County Council Tree Preservation Order.
Mature broadleaved woodland, predominantly Oak, totalling approximately 6.44 acres."
