This school has a great history. It had been started by Sh. Ragunandan Pradhan in 1954 under open sky named "Samaj Kalyan High School (S.K.High School) Rohat. For running the school a commetee of the villagers had been developed and the commetee run the school upto 45 years successfully. The shool was very popular in the surrounding villages and almost half strength of the students was from nearby villages. Some students used to come in the school from a distance of 40-50 kms. The Staff was excellent in every aspect and have produced planty of superub students. But in 1997 the school had been occupied by the goverenment and now its name has been changed as Sr. Sc. school Rohat. (Information added by Khushpal Dahiya)
