  Dhone, this is the excellent town.this town is having munispality now. its growing town. you can find. 1.Railway junction this is the main raiway station for going towards chennai,banglore,Gao,nagpur...etc 2.gods home on the top of mountains hunumant temple, durga, chearch...all three are there on the hill 3.having old construction which is build by british now they are used as gov office. 4.Roads buildings here you can find the good roads and good employees and tearchs. 5.Sundersing colony where i am stying. i completed my education in dhone 6.Sri kanyaka paremeswari High school its really very good school. i like this very much. this is very nice school. 7. you can find lard venkateswara temple in sundersing colony, there lot of people use to go for pray.

  the name dhone came from? The former name of Dhone was Dronachalam. Dhone is one of the biggest municipality in Kurnool district. According to local tradition, the name of the village is derived from the name of the tutor Dronacharya, a character in Mahabharatha, who meditated on the hill in village. There is now a Hanumantemple, Dargah and church on the hill. Dhone has large deposits of high quality limestone. Politics There are two active political parties in Dhone, the Telugu Desam Party and Congress Party. The present MLA is K. E. Krishnamurthy who is the son of K.E. Madanna. The former MLA was Kotla Sujathamma who is a Congress leader. Dhone railway is a biggest railway junction in single line BG Diesel traction section which connects all the major metropolitan cities except Mumbai.Its has a second biggest and the most advanced running room in indian railways.
