  • Before 1757 AD.Village BELRA was known as Chhota Sikohabad and It was part of Rohilas Rule and Bidhi Rathi was the kilaidar(caretaker).In1757 BHIND TOMAR's invaded this place and occupied it and changed its nama on the name of their leader BALER SINGH TOMAR.In 1761 Marathas lost to Combined Forces of Afgan & Rohilas But Tomars Though from BHIND-GWALIOR stayed and remained in and around Belra.Tomars were Rajputs But as the local population was predominatly Jaats they assimilated and entered in matrimonial alliances and are absobed in to Jaats.
  • BELRA has no Tyagi population and is not known as Belra tyagi It is known as "BELRA" only.Belra has a populatin of Zaidis Sia's They migrated to Belra When their orignal village Raipur was dimolised due to the construction of Upper Ganga Canal in 1860 AD.
