Saint Joseph's Academy is the only Catholic High School for girls in Cleveland. Founded in 1890 by the Sisters of the Congregation of Saint Joseph in Tremont, the present building was constructed in 1927 on the site of a previous school established in 1899.

The Academy Center was added in 1996 and the Rawlings Track and Field Complex was completed in 2002. The present student enrollment is approximately 670.
