Founded in the mid 1960's on Augusta Road as a ministry of Southside Baptist Church, Southside Christian School moved to its present campus off Woodruff Road and Highway 14 in 1987. Now independent of nearby Southside Fellowship Church, Southside Christian School is a fully accredited K - 12 institution that has high standards of academic achievement and evangelical Christian commitment. Over 1,200 students currently attend daily, as of 2007.
