A former hotel ('Continental Hotel') built in 1911-12, and redeveloped by the City of Vancouver into non-market housing for seniors.
A mural of orcas by the artist Wyland was painted on the southern exterior wall in 1994, and restored in 2010. The mural is visible to northbound traffic on the Granville Street Bridge.
