This Pin Oak is one of the older and most majestic trees in Touro Park.
Native to eastern North America, the Pin Oak grows to 60-70’ tall. It is naturally a wetland tree, and has a shallow, fibrous root system (unlike many other oaks which have deep taproots when young).
