Fort Grey Horse (from 21 of Octtober 1919 - Fort "Peredovoy", then - fort "Krasnogvardeyskiy") - antiamphibious coast battery on Kronstadt's position on the Peter Velikiy fortress. Built in 1911 at the Grey Horse cape in the area of the village Black Lakhta(Chernaya Lahta). This position have been included inside two open long-term batteries - the left flank forguns 120-mm Vickers guns, on the right – threeguns 152-mm guns Cane. During the Great Patriotic War(Second World War the battery defends Oranienbaum bridgehead. It was disarmed in connection with the liquidation of Kronshtad fortress in the 1950s.
The Fort is one of the cultural sites of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1990.
