Fort "Krasnaya Gorka"(Red Hill), (Alekseevskiy) (in 1919 it was renamed the "Krasnoflotskiy") - one of two powerful coastal fort of Kronshtadt position Naval Fortress of Peter Great.
Entered in the composition of a powerful mining artillery position, reliably protecting the approaches to the capital of the state at the time by approaching large ships of the enemy.
Construction under the leadership of Major General Apollon Alexeyevich Shishkin started in 1909 while the fort Ino (Nicolay) and completed in 1915. Fort was named for the village Krasnaya Gorka which it is located. Fort is put into effect in early 1914.
The Fort is one of the cultural sites of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1990.
