Built in 1579 by Lala Mustafa Pasha who re-built the city. Named for the tomb of Ebu'l Hasani Harakani, one of the first Muslim saints (evliya) who came to Anatolia, buried in its yard. The mosque suffered major damages in 1604 during the Iran invasion and was re-built in 1617. It underwent a major restoration in 1998.
