John Bryan State Park consists of 752 wooded acres stretched along 2.2 miles of the Little Miami River. The scenic centerpiece of the park is the gorge that the Little Miami river has cut through layers of limestone, dolomite, and shale.

The park offers camping, hiking, bike trails, picnic areas, and a designated rock climbing area.

John Bryan State Park takes its name from the original landowner, who bequeathed the original 335 acres to the State of Ohio in 1918. It lies adjacent to Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve and Glen Helen Nature Preserve on its eastern and western edges.

  • Polygon based on DNR park map.
  • It's funny that this place has no photos. It's supposed to be one of the most scenic parks in the region.
