The Inn was built by the Dexter's in the very early 1920's. Originally a large dance pavilion and dining area with small cabins for guests. The area was originally known as Strawberry Flat, but today is know as Twin Peaks. The Antler's Inn remains a very fine restaurant, and the cabins are still available to guests.

  • The Antler has new ownership and is restoring the historic facility in great style, rebuilding the cabins from the ground up. Remodeled facility will reopen around Memorial Day. New chef, new facilities for weddings and family reunions in the little town of Twin Peaks (pop. 1,110) near Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. One of the cabins is the first building in Twin Peaks, preserved in accordance with the Forest Service. In was built in 1875 for a logger, a 5 by 8 FOOT room with a pot bellied stove and a cot. It was enlarged in the early twenties to include a fireplace and a bit more room to move around. The Antlers is one of the greatest places on the mountain and much loved by the locals.
