Pumpkin Park was so named for the giant metal Cinderella's coach play structure. There was also a climb-on metal boot, from the "Old Woman in the Shoe" nursery rhyme, and a tower that you could climb up in, with a long slide that wrapped around the outside.

The rectangle is the shade for the picnic area. Every Halloween, the base would hold a pig roast there and invite the neighbors. It was a giant fest.
