  • Your customer Service needs more traning and instructed not to tell lie to your customers. Here is what happen to me. On Jan 4,2008 my router went bad. After 4 hours on with your tec dept (on my Cell), 'I was told that the router would not receive commands" She told me that I would gey a replacement on Tuesday Jan 8 Tues came and went no router. I call Cust Service and was told that "No mailing over the weekend tht I would receive my replacement on Fri. Jan 11th> Fri came and went no router, I called and was told that " we didn't receive the old routh and they would not send a replacement until it was received. I was never told this, I did receive an e-mail giving a RA number but nothing about returning the old router before I would receive the new one. On Jan 12 I UPS the old one back. i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VONAGE
  • This company is a rip off. The way they make money is by keeping your money, yes, keeping your money. I signed up with them and my phones did not work after 2wks they finally send a tech and he did nothing but check the lines, I told him we had an alarm system and he said well you would have to call them and have the re-wire everything in order for vonage to work. I said no I was not going to spend money on re-wiring just so this vonage could work, so I called back verizon, and needless to say vonage did not want to let go of our phone number. Why you ask because it was not over the free month they offered. If they can keep it over the 1 free month and they you call to cancel cause your not happy then they keep your money, and charge you for a 100 dollar cancellation fee. Well that's what is happening to me I called to cancel before the month was over and they told verizon they will let the number go on the 17th of December, not the week before. When I called I spoke to someone in Chile of all places who assured me the disconnection will be done and I will get my money back as a curotisy since I was not happy with the product, then he transferred me to someone in Jersey and they said I will not get anything and I owe them 100buck for disconnecting...meanwhile for the whole month I had them my phones did not work, a whole month with no phone! I will make sure everyone knows about what a ripe off Vonage is I will go further and go on the news about this. If they would have trained their customer service in the Phillipines properly we would not have had this problem and I would not have signed up or maybe they should keep their business here in the states who speaks good english and could explain better
