The four story, 49,769 sq. ft., brick industrial building was erected in 1919 for Lion Knitting Mills which produced knitted goods for the military and private labels. At one time employing over 250 workers, the company closed down in 1990 due to foreign competition.

The building was later occupied by Kredo Industrial Supply and now home to a number of tenants including the West Side Boxing Club.
