Scott Ward, his partner, chef May Lawrence, and teenage son, Brendan live here. When this urban expat couple decided to build the suburban house they wanted rather than the one their neighbors expected. They ended up with an airy boxy house with a flat roof, quite distinct. The house was designed by David Baker. The small front lawn is dominated by boxy pieces of boxy granite arranged in a regular array.
