Case Field is home to the Spartan football, soccer and track & field teams. The 2,400-seat, state-of-the-art facility and surrounding residence hall complex opened in August of 2005. The entire complex was built at a total cost of $126 million.

The field itself is a multifunctional field with a FieldTurf surface surrounded by the eight-lane Coach Bill Sudeck Track, named after the legendary cross country, track and basketball coach in 2008. The field was built in a European box style, allowing a large enough area for soccer contests. Along with hosting varsity football, soccer, and track events, the field is used for intramural activities, special events, and for the general recreation of the campus community.
