White's is one of the premier locations in the Saginaw Valley to hear the best in "local" music. The Tri-Cities have produced everything from Stevie Wonder to Madonna so the almost overpowering diversity of the White's Bar programs is unsurprising. Bo White, the proprietor, encourages new bands as well. Often an established act will invite a promising band to "lead in" for them. This has given the patrons some very interesting musical evenings over the years.
Among the bands playing often at White's are Sprout, Barbarossa, The Banana Convention, and The Holy Gun.
While you're at White's check out the photos on the wall. Bo has memorabilia from rockers and folkies, punkers and metalheads. The autographs on the pictures are a Who's Who of the American popular music scene for the past several decades.
