British Parachute School is based in the scenic Vale of Belvoir, 12 miles South East of Nottingham at Langar Airfield in the East Midlands. Built as a bomber base in World War II, the Airfield is now used exclusively by the Parachute School with two Cessna Grand Caravan turbine aircraft. BPS Langar is a full-time school with training and jumping continuing all year-round. It is open seven days a week, every day of the year (except Christmas Day).
British Parachute Schools has been operating at Langar since 1977. Jumpers make a combined total of around 30,000 jumps each year. All instruction at British Parachute Schools is provided by British Parachute Association qualified Instructors.
