zinavari is 66 Km. far away from Jamnagar and Dhunda is 5 km far from zinavari. Zinavari is a Rabari cattle breeders tribe, who are considered the direct descendants from the Krishna dynasty (Yadavs). They have been settled here since thousands of years. The village is also named Gop where there is a temple popularly known as the Gopnath Mahadev Temple. It is not clear whether this 6th century temple originally enshrined the Sun or Lord Shiva. This temple is about 7 km away from the ST bus stand. Thereafter one may ascend up its 600 steps. However, one can also choose to drive up all the way in a vehicle.

Gop hill is the highest place from sea level in Saurashtra. Some one joins the hill with the name of Bhagvan Krishna, when Saurashtra was called Anart Desh. There is Shiv temple called "Gopnath" on the top of the hill. River Vartu flows from Gop hill and meets the sea near Harshad. Near the Gop hill, There is a sun Temple. it is said to be of 500 D.C. The temple is grand and beautiful. It is said that this temple was a part of great city called Pragjyotishpur. At present there is Small village "Zinavari Gop" near by temple. There is also Buddhist cave on the bank of river "Vartu" This place is very ancient and historical.
