Dutse Royal Golf Course

The Emir of Dutse, Mohammed Sanusi, built this golf course. It's larger than the famed IBB Golf course in Abuja. Architecturally, the course resembles the one in Abuja since there is a perfect drive-around road across the course. There was a problem at the time. There wasn't adequate water to make the course lush the year round. The Emir soon got over this by building dams round the course. The idea here was simple enough. If rains could be trapped only twice in a year, there could be enough to water the course for a whole year. And this is working quite fine.
