SRI SRI SATYAGURU ASHRAM is the place of SRI SRI THAKUR ADINATH and ASHRAM MATA MIRA DEVI.The ASHRAM is situated at Adarshapara,Shyamnagar,in North 24 Parganas District.It is just 30 minites from the sub-divisional town Barrackpore and 1 hour journey from the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata.The ASHRAM is build on around one bigha of land and there are two buildings--one for the residents and other for the devotees.Beside these two buildings, are the main ASHRAM.The ASHRAM is the place of worship for many local and outside devotees.The devotees come here to meet SRI SRI THAKUR ADINATH and ASHRAM MATA MIRA DEVI.The devotees come here to pray, to find their inner soul and to find peace.There is a library in the ASHRAM, mainly consists of religious books.SRI SRI SATYAGURU SEVA SAMITY is a part of the ASHRAM. They organise different kind of activities like Sit and Draw Competition,Quize Contest,Sports Competition,Eye Camp etc.Through out the year diferrent types of religious and devotional programmes are held at ASHRAM.Every year in the first and second week of March THE UTSAV is organised at ASHRAM to mark the birthday of LATE SRI SRI THAKUR ADINATH.People around the place and around the state come here through out the year.Because they believe that THE THAKUR is with us always in any condition.And this is the greatness of this ASHRAM.
